This is a delicious, tasty and healthy sandwich you can make in a jiffy! The crushed red pepper will spice you right on up! These delectable sammies are so versatile. You can serve them as an appetizer, snack or as a light lunch or dinner. The fun part, is that there is no cooking. Yes, you heard me right! Ingredients

  • 1 package lavash bread *4 slices*
  • 8 ounces philadelphia cream cheese. softened
  • 1 zest of lemon
  • 4 pinches crushed red pepper
  • 4 tablespoons green onion, sliced thin
  • 1 shallot, sliced thin
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, sliced thin
  • 4 teaspoons capers
  • 8 ounces lox pieces
  • 4 ounces fresh spinach leaves

Directions

  1. Combine cream cheese, lemon zest and crushed red pepper in a small mixing bowl. Mix well and spread on all 4 slices of bread.
  2. On 2/3 of the bread, assemble green onion, shallot, tomatoes, capers, lox and spinach leaves.
  3. With veggies and lox side closet to you, start to roll. Roll tightly. Seal the end. Roll in plastic wrap. Chill in fridge for 30 minutes or longer.
  4. Slice into 1 1/4 inch pieces with a serrated knife. Enjoy!
