Ingredients

  • 2 cups Crushed Pretzels
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 stick of Butter, melted
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 large Cool Whip
  • 1 1/2 cups Fresh Strawberries
  • 6 ounces Strawberry Gelatin

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter and add to crushed pretzels along with 3 T. sugar. Pat into bottom of 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. Mix together softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar; stir in cool whip. Layer on top of pretzel crust, sealing sides completely. Mix 2 cups boiling water with strawberry jello; let set/cool slightly before adding berries and pouring on top of cream cheese mixture (I put mine in the freezer for about 30 minutes to help it along - just don't let it get to a thick set up consistency. You want it to be pretty and smooth) Best when served right out of the refridgerator and same day it was made - you don't want your pretzels to get soggy. Enjoy!!
