Dark Chocolate Smoky Almond Frozen Cream Sandwiches

Just imagine a delicious, decadent and indulgent chocolate cream cheese mousse, sandwiched between chocolate wafers and the edges rolled in chopped smoked almonds! These little sandwiches are sweet and creamy – just what you’re looking for in a mini dessert ~ see if you can eat just one! Betcha can’t!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce container Philadelphia Indulgence Dark Chocolate Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1 cup marshmallow crème
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2/3 cup smoked almonds, chopped
  • 28 chocolate wafers (from 9 oz package)
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Place Indulgence in medium bowl.
  2. Beat in marshmallow crème until blended.
  3. In another medium bowl, beat whipping cream until medium peaks form.
  4. Fold into chocolate mixture.
  5. Place in freezer 1 hour.
  6. Using a standard ice cream scoop, scoop out filling and place each scoop on 14 wafers, placing remaining 14 wafers on top, pressing gently to flatten filling just to edges.
  7. Gently roll edges of sandwich in nuts, covering filling completely and place on serving tray.
  8. Cover tray loosely with foil and place in freezer for 2 hours, or until firm.
  9. When serving, dust with sifted powdered sugar.
  10. Keep unused portions in freezer.
