Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip Brownies

I love Red Velvet..it has always been my favorite..Ever since I was a little girl, and my Aunt would make her famous Red Velvet cake for Christmas. I could never get enough of that. This is a simple version, using a red velvet cake mix and topping it off with a cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients

  • 1 duncan hines red velvet cake mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 4 ounces philadelphia cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter, room temp
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 glass pyrex dish, set aside.
  2. In mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil, milk, and egg, mix just till blended. Take white chocolate chips and toss with 1 Tablespoon flour, gently fold into cake mixture.
  3. Press mixture in the bottom of prepared pan, and bake for 25 minutes. Allow to completely cool
  4. For frosting: Combine cream cheese and butter, mix till smooth and creamy, add vanilla and powdered sugar, mix well.
  5. When brownies are cooled, ice with cream cheese frosting. Serve with milk!!

    Sounds good.I make red velvet cake and that sounds yummy to try it as brownies.
