Caramel Nutella "Philled" Rangoon

This bite size dessert has huge flavor. It has a crispy outside with a smooth creamy center. If you looking for an easy yet elegant recipe for your creamy chocolate, and caramel craving... This is IT!

Ingredients

  • 1 package of won tons
  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 pinch granulated sugar

Directions

  1. Heat oil to 350 in deep fryer or medium heat in pot
  2. In a small bowl mix (with hand mixer) caramel sauce, nutella, and Philadelphia cream cheese together until smooth.
  3. Pull out ten won tons at a time and cover with a damp paper towel to prevent drying out.
  4. Place one teaspoon of creamy filling in the middle of one won ton wrapper, while keeping the other ones covered.
  5. Next lightly wet all edges of won ton with your fingertip and water.
  6. Fold upwards each corner of won ton and firmly press each edge to form an "X" shape.
  7. Slowly place won tons in the oil until lightly golden brown.
  8. Once won tons are done take them out of oil and place on dry paper towel and lightly sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  9. Repeat the steps above and enjoy.
