Everyone loves luxurious chocolate and adding the sweet deliciousness of PHILADELPHIA strawberry cream cheese only makes it better! With this dessert, you prepare cake mix like you would pancakes and it makes a fluffy, chocolate 'pancake' that is a great bed for the strawberries and bananas and is an irresistable treat!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces PHILADELPHIA Strawberry Cream Cheese
  • 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 3 Eggs (or whatever your cake mix calls for)
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil (or whatever your cake mix calls for)
  • 1 1/3 cups Water (or whatever your cake mix calls for)
  • 1/2 pint Strawberries (cut and leave some whole for garnish if desired)
  • 2 Bananas
  • 4 ounces Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 ounces Dark Chocolate Morsels

Directions

  1. Preheat a griddle pan.
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
  3. Pour batter onto griddle like you would pancakes but make sure to make just small ones (2 inches long max).
  4. While the cake 'pancakes' are cooking, wash and cut the strawberries into small, bite-size pieces. Leave some whole for garnish if desired.
  5. Mix the cream until it forms whipped cream.
  6. Mush up half a banana and add to the cream.
  7. Melt the chocolate in a double broiler and keep warm until ready.
  8. Set the PHILADELPHIA strawberry cream cheese on the counter to take the chill off.
  9. When the cakes are done (they only need a couple of minutes on each side) go ahead and chop the rest of the banana into small circles.
  10. To plate, spread the cream cheese onto one of the cakes. Add 1 1/2 slice of banana on top of that. Spread the cream cheese onto another cake and place on top of the bananas. Put about 3 pieces of strawberry on top of that cake. Put a dollop of whipped cream on top and drizzle with chocolate sauce. ENJOY!
