I love any and everything fried so why not fry up some Philadelphia Cream Cheese Strawberry in the middle of yummy dough. This idea came to me when my seven year old son asked if you could fry Philadelphia Cream Cheese. I said why not, lets try it! So here is what we came up with, hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients

  • 5 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese Strawberry
  • 1 Can of refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups 100% Canola oil for frying
  • 3 cups Cut and cleaned fresh strawberries

Directions

  1. Open refrigerated biscuits and separate. Push down and flatten each piece.
  2. Place a spoon full of Philadelphia Cream Cheese Strawberry on each piece of dough. Close sides of the dough tightly.
  3. In a separate dish add the sugar and ground cinnamon (mix up).
  4. Add 3 cups of 100% canola oil to a frying pan and heat to 350 degrees F. Gently place each piece of dough into the hot oil and move around for 5-8 mins.
  5. Place the hot pieces of cooked dough into the dish of sugar and cinnamon, roll each piece around until coated.
  6. -Cut and clean the 3 cups of fresh strawberries and place the fruit onto a serving platter.
  7. Place the cooked tiny strawberry fried fun on to a plate covered with the cut fruit.
  8. NOTE: Enjoy this amazing dish as a desert or breakfast. Also, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar for more color and sweetness. The kiddos really like to add chocolate chips and more fruit to their fried fun. ENJOY!!
