Layered Cheesecake Bavarois

I learned how to make Bavarois when I was in Chile. It was one of my favourite desserts and also quite calorie-friendly. This version combines two of the best desserts on Earth: Cheesecake and Bavarois

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese. Softened.
  • 1 Can of evaporated milk. Chilled overnight.
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 1 1/4 Packages of gelatin of your favourite flavour

Directions

  1. Mix the cream cheese with 1/4 package of gelatin with an electric mixer until cheese looks smooth.
  2. Pour the cream cheese and gelatin mixture in a ramekin, filling only halfway through.
  3. Dissolve 1 package of gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water and set aside.
  4. Mix evaporated milk with an electric mixer until it triples in volume.
  5. Add the gelatin dissolved in water to the evaporated milk until everything looks homogeneous.
  6. Finish filling the ramekins with the evaporated milk mixture.
  7. Chill overnight.
