Fresh fruit is always a refreshing dessert choice, but to make it special you need a secret weapon! Here is where my inspiration for this dessert began. First bite-size fresh fruit, your choice, served with a decadent dip made with PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese! Ganache is such a lovely concoction, I wondered how it would work with Philly. It's amazing! The only way to improve upon chocolate and cream is with cream cheese!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 ounces dark chocolate
  • 4 ounces PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups fresh fruit of your choice cut into 1" pieces

Directions

  1. Heat half and half over medium heat in a double boiler until hot.
  2. Add sugar, chocolate, cream cheese, and stir until melted.
  3. Add vanilla, stir, and remove from heat.
  4. Serve as a dip with fruit on a platter, or serve in individual portions with a shot glass of ganache for each person.
