In the contest rules, it states 4 oz of cream cheese. Does that mean at least 4 oz of cream cheese, and can we go over that amount? Or does it mean strictly 4 oz of cream cheese, no more???????

Hi Karrie,

4 oz is the minimum amount you can use. Please feel free to use more if your recipe calls for more!

Thanks! I have always been a cream cheese lover and use it for sooooooo many things, as well as new recipes I think up in my head, so this will be fun! If I saw on the video correctly, we can submit more than one recipe?

One more thing, sorry, so many questions! I am not sure how to name what I have - whether a soup, a chowder or a bisque. It is thick but has no seafood in it, and it's great for dipping bread, like garlic toast, into. It's very filling, and we eat it for dinner, not lunch.

Bisque would probably work best....since you can have like a tomato basil bisque...no seafood.....that's what I would use. Hope that helps! Good luck!!

how did you get your picture up? I went to my account and tried to add a pic but it says my pics are the wrong format. They are jpgs, which is the most commonly used format on the internet. I am totally confused!!!!!!!!

Really doesn't matter if you call it a chowder or a bisque really, just whatever you think is best. I make a delicious and very filling corn & potato chowder, during the fall and winter, and it has no meat in it either so it could work both ways. It's always hot here in Texas so in the winter, I love a hot chowder with fresh hot breadsticks to dip in the chowder. Can't wait for winter!
