Savannah .. Missing Y'all

Today is the fourth Sunday in June, and, for the first time in two years, I woke up on this particular Sunday here, at home. Usually, I'd be in Savannah, or headed that way, to meet the RWOP for a week of fun, sharing and connecting. Seem strange.. but time does bring on change! So, I'm sitting here, with a Cafe Au Lait and a Pralines N Creme Croissant thinking of all of you and remembering the way we were! I'm heading down to Savannah later in the week, just because!

Awww...Claudia, that's so sweet! I only had the pleasure of going to Savannah last year and I truly had an amazing time! I so wished this year's competition mimicked the last two years because the camaraderie and sisterhood just isn't the same when your "world wide webs" apart. It was great to meet so many of the wonderful women on this site and, of course, Paula Deen. So, you sit and enjoy your Cafe Au Lait and Pralines N Creme Croissant and I'll sit here and enjoy my Espresso and we'll toast to wonderful memories of Savannah in June! :-)

I have been thinking about this too! I was all ready to go visit Savannah again! Great City! It was always like a family reunion too! I am missing my road trip and my roadies! I had a deposit down on a special rental early! Was looking forward to gathering, celebrating... just more girl time fun! Savannah in June had a great reason for being in our lives ladies! I am here in Texas enjoying my favorite hot brew and thinking of all of you!

Claudia, I loved the video! Even though I never got the chance to go to Savannah, I certainly am blessed with wonderful friendships, and miss my friends!

What great memories indeed....I love that we have such an incredible community and that RWOP'ers are finding ways to meet up and spend time together in so many wonderfully creative ways this year....Maybe one day we can have a Savannah reunion Nancy! That would be a blast...I know others in the community would love that as well.

Thanks Nancy A! You weren't in Savannah, but wasn't New York grand? And, Aryen, I remember vividly our first meet in Savannah .. you joined the dance and performed like the pro that you are.. and held on to me at the LIVE EVENT! Speaking of which.. the LIVE EVENT would be tonight! Well, I made a tee-shirt (had to have one, LOL) that reads "RWOP Season 3 .. The Season of Dreams". "Real Recipes, Real Conversations, Real Dreams..We Are The Real Women of Philadelphia." So, I'm going to put it on, and go and find a "big chair" and sit down somewhere! LOL!

Even though I never got to Savannah, you dear friends made many of us feel part of it all. Thank you, Claudia, for sharing such sweet memories and pictures of RWOP sisters.
