Yep, by the end of this week I will have made 1000 cinnamon rolls for our bible school. Another lady started the tradition and moved away. About 4 years ago, I volunteered to do it. It's sooooo exciting to see little children eat that home made roll. Probably many for the first time tasting a home made cinnamon roll. Anyway, 5 grandkids at my house for VBS and a mountain of cinnamon rolls in the works. Oh yeah, and the adults and teenager volunteers are gobbling up their share also. I should have videos or at least pics in a few days. I must be crazy!

I just read that on a different thread.....Love making cinnamon rolls too....what a great treat for VBS, I don't ever remember getting such a wonderful treat....I remember getting a lot of Charm's Blow Pops & other candies from there because one of my friend's dad's worked for them....I like your treat a bit better! HA!

Gayle, I can just smell that cinnamon aroma now! Those children are so lucky to have you do that for them.
When I used to teach VBS I did good to bring graham crackers!!!

You know Paula, it was the missing aroma that convicted me to bring those back to the kids. You can smell them all over the church education building. There's something about the smell of cinnamon that goes right to the memory bank of everyone! It brings back pleasant memories. It's so worth the effort to see those kids and people enjoying. I know that's the common thread of all the great cooks on RWOP. We love to watch people eat what we cook! Best to you Paula.
