Please describe the situation a little more Mary... need details! Did it crater, spilt, is it too wet or too dry...?

Mary, I hate it when that happens, but rest assured that it happens to ALL of us at one time or another! Nancy, you are cute!

Nothing worse than waiting for your cheesecake to be finished baking so you can sink your teeth into it, and then it FLOPS!!!!

Pie Filling works so well as a coverup. If all else fails, scoop it into dessert cups and make it a layer with Pie filling, Cool Whip and you have a trifle! So many ways to redemption of a flopped Cheesecake. All is not lost! LOL! Paula is right... been there, done that!

Cook a cheesecake on a low temp. 275 to 300 degrees. look for top to rise equal to the sides almost. I always run a knife around the edges and cool very slowly! My Mom rasied me on her cheesecake and many more wonderful foods! Also takes about a hour or more to bake. Enjoy your cheesecakes!! One and all
