Just watched a video clip on Food Network with Paula Deen Thanking U.S. Troops. She truly is an inspiration. Love you Ms. Paula. I can only hope and pray that I will get to meet you in Savannah.
Love,
Laurie

Many of we RWOP are Baby Boomers and lived through the Vietnam Era and may have loved ones who served in Vietnam. My husband is a Vietnam Veteran, Only in the last decade or so has he allowed that era of his life surface. We didn't thank our Vietnam Vets, many we treated very, very poorly.

If you know a Vietnam Vet, say thank you. They'll appreciate that you care that they served (many against their will) 40 years ago.

My father is a vet and now works as a chaplain for the DAV! I couldn't be prouder to be his daughter and watch him year after year try and give back what so many of the fallen soldiers have lost. I would like to personally thank all of the soldiers, who have and do serve with their lives, so that we can all be free!God Bless them and this great country, where we are all so blessed to reside!monixo

My son is stationed overseas. He should be in Kosovow during the final competition. I miss him dearly-it has really been tough letting my 18 year old son leave to do what he beleives in. He has made some very good decisions, grown up so much, and we could not be any prouder! He is my hero! Please keep him in your prayers. Pray that my beautiful brave son is safe ,and in one piece when he returns! I am so pleased that Paula is supportive. Just one more reaon I love her so much! Thank you again for all of your support!

Joyce Conway's husband, Scot, posted a beautiful tribute video for our soldiers. He only just learned how to edit for Joyce's recipe videos. Isn't that great?

Really special that Paula gave a tribute to our US troops.

Audrey, I'm one of those Baby Boomers who lived through that era, my husband (then), was an 82nd Airborne Ranger. He has never been able to skake those memories.
Dad was at the first landing at Omaha Beach.

Monica, you have every right to be proud of your Dad! He has a very important job.

Suzanne, our thoughts are with you for your son's safe return.
