My dish is more of an off-white color with specks of green and brown. What color top should I go with?

I don't know what your coloring is, but if you look good in spring green, I think it would complement your dish as you described it. Good Luck!

The plating for my dish is southwestern-ish, terra-cotta and an aqua blue.....any suggestions on wardrobe? I have absolutely NO idea! I don't want to be too matchy-matchy but what other color would I go with?

Mary how about a great green that goes with everything. even coral or orange. When I think southwestern I think those colors. Am I wrong

I was afraid to go with coral...didn't know if it would blend well with those colors? I love coral ..... I wonder if that would work. What shade of green were you thinking of ? Like a lime shade? .......thanks for the help!

Don't match your dish!! I made this mistake once in a design critique and the teacher had a hard time really seeing my dish because it was blending in with my dress!! Contrast is sometimes really nice. =)

Hi Mary,

I was in the beauty industry for years and the one mistake people make is doubting themselves and over thinking. You know what you feel the best in so go with it. Compliment your food by using colors in the same scheme. if your food is presented on terra cotta and teal wear blue and or green. You will do fine and look marvelous, good luck.
