Howdy Y'all! I'm a Texas girl who's been in Nashville for over 10 years. I have 12 years of hair styling experience, so for any guidance, feel free to write!
Here's some tips to get you started....
1. We are cooking, but we can still look gorgeous. No one wants to eat your hair though. Wear it in a way that you think suits you well, but is maybe a little "over done," same with your makeup. This is camera work girls!
2. Tease and Spray that hair even if you tame it down. You don't want it flying around. OR try a new "high fashion ponytail" Poof up the bangs and pin em back. Tease your crown and smooth, slick back the sides and secure with pins. Band up the length of your hair. Don't forget to rock some super cute earrings with that pony!
3. Let's see those eyes. They are what are going to stand out and show your personality. Again, find the best makeup tricks for YOU. Keep your hair out of your eyes, and do what your stylist recommends to accentuate them. You don't want to TOUCH your hair, and then touch food, so keep it away from your eyes, nose and mouth.
4. Speaking of keeping hair away from you mouth, how cute are you going to look when that hot pink lipstick you slathered on smears all over yo' face with that cream cheese? Lip color rocks, but color your lips with a pencil and smudge to stain. Then coat with a dab of clear gloss for shine and moisture.
Lets have a blast and look amazing while we cook!

I appreciate so much help and so many great ideas! Thank you I'm not a make-up whiz at all so I think I might let my neice do it for me! That sounds fun to me and one less thing to concern myself with.

Don't have to tell me more than once to tease. All girls need a little poof!

Just when I was thinking... "what the heck am I gonna DO with this head a hair?!?" Thanks so much for the advice! Gonna have to go to the store and invest in some clips or something, I hate fly-aways! I love me some AQUA NET! That hair becomes like CEMENT and won't move at all! Think I'll invest in some new eye shadow too and rock my baby blues! Maybe some Oil of Olay so I don't look my age... ROFL
