Today we’re shining the spotlight on KRISTINE SNYDER, who submitted her knock out recipe and photo for KALAMATA & CREAM CHEESE TURKEY BURGERS WITH SUNDRIED TOMATO SPREAD to the Your Kitchen of Dreams contest! We can’t think of a better dish to serve today than this mouthwatering burger, and we’re sure it tastes as good as it looks.

Great looking burger, Kristine! Is that a ciabatta roll on there? I love them. It would be hard to get your mouth around that one.

We support my husbands union every year by marching in the Labor Day Parade, then it's off to the hall for the annual picnic. We then meet up with friends for the end of the summer pool party with a cook out for dinner.

Hard Work! Mowed the yard! Not much else going on. My hubby working so LABOR was the name of the day around here! -

We drove to Boston (3 hours) early this morning and just got home....great day :) I was lazy and bought Georgetown cupcakes, so good. -
We did our celebrating with family yesterday at the lake and our house after. Today we're just doing errands and yard work. Will grill dinner tonight.

It's drizzling on and off here so I will be inside testing recipe ideas and hubby will try to get in a round of golf, so I have the house to myself. I wish I could grill dinner and eat outside but another wave of Isaac will make sure we don't. At least it's cool and there is a breeze.

We'll be BBQ'ing today, too! ONE MORE POOL day....the air is starting to change and I can tell the pool will be too cool soon. We bbq year round though! -

Happy Birthday Leslie!
I'm spending the day with my two teenagers, hubby and my married son, daughter in law and grand baby. The children requested chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy as well as grilled corn on the cob. I'm fixing a hot meal on a hot day but it's my kids favorite so I must respond accordingly. Only bad part...the air conditioner went out yesterday. I'm getting out the fans for sure! Happy Labor Day RWOP! -

I'm grilling this afternoon, hamburgers, sausages, salads, homemade Ice cream! Grandkids and kids are coming to enjoy. Happy Labor Day to all! -
That's a great recipe. I spending the day with ALL my family - immediate and extended. Almost all of us live in the same city so it's wonderful. We spend lots of time together. It's how I grew up too so I know how much it means to the kids to play with their cousins regularly and see their grandparents and aunts and uncles almost weekly. We all bring something (usually one of the family members personal favorites) and have a great big meal midafternoon.

I went to an estate sale and bought some really neat things. Can't wait to get my hands on them and transform them. -
Grilling Hamburgers and having potatoe salad veggies and dip and chocolate brownies top with vanilla ice cream ans chocolate sauce. -
Nothing special going on today because of the rain. But
that is ok we are together. Just my husband and I today. Kids
are doing their thing..

We have been on a camping 4 wheeling trip all week. We have been riding hard and getting muddy. Having a great time. Labor Day morning our friends left so we are catching up on some needed relaxation. I am going to cook some nice trout on the grill tonight for dinner. Even our dog made some new friends. -
I made a roast chicken and dressing as it is just my husband and I this year and my husband is working most of the day. watching the us open until we eat. hope everyone is having a great labor day.
