Hello Real Women of Philadelphia!
You want to know a little secret of mine? I love to entertain! Okay, maybe that’s not quite a secret, but here’s something you might not know about me…I love to throw GREEK parties!
Greek food makes the BEST party food! And what could be better than a Greek party?! Besides maybe a Greek party in…GREECE! And that’s precisely why we’re sending a member of the RWOP community on a DELICIOUS DREAM TRIP to Greece!
So why not throw your own Greek party this week? Whip up a few delicious dishes and then SHARE them with us, along with your videos! And speaking of videos, I wanted to share mine with all of you and give you a glimpse into how I prepped my show-stopping delicious Greek party dishes for my most recent bash.
There just never seems to be enough of my special GREEK SALAD DRESSING or my GREAT GREEK DIP to go around! And my DELICIOUS SANTORINI CROSTINI? They practically disappear as soon as I set them down on my homemade Greek inspired tablecloth!
Now that I have your mouths watering, I have to know: What Greek dish would you nosh on FIRST in GREECE?
Good luck, ladies!
Moni
PS - Did you catch a glimpse of my Greek inspired tablecloth? It’s so simple and fun to make, I had to share it with you! Moni, You shine behind the camera!! Love all the recipes and watching your pretty smile♥
I've always dreamt of being adopted by a Greek momma and spending weeks in her kitchen learning all of her family recipes. There's nothing better than learning at the hands of a momma chef! -
What Greek dish would you nosh on FIRST in GREECE... fish, because the country is a peninsula -
Moni, YOU ROCK! Beautiful party setting and super cute blue top you have! Wish you were my neighbor, we would be stuffing our faces full of grape leaves and vino almost every evening! Good Job! And very inspiring! OPA! -

Moni, I would nosh on bread, olive oil, butter, fresh fruit and cheeses. I absolutely love your outdoor setting and arbor above your table. I so envy folks in climates where you can do a lot of entertaining outside. It is so humid and hot where I live, not to mention mosquitoes. -
Moni...I can so see you as a Food Network star with this video! Outstanding job....! You are a bright star in the universe!!! Love you!!! -

This video is INCREDIBLE Moni, You are so natural, warm and welcoming. I would love to be at your Greek party :-) -
You are beautiful and amazing. Not only on the outside, but on the inside as well. That is rare....You are genuine and outstanding. Love you very much. -
My first bite in Greece would have to include olives. Did you know that Athena brought olives as a gift back in the day and Poseiden brought water and that Athena's gift of olives was deemed more important? Therefore, I would eat revered olives in Greece!! They must be extra special there LOL !! -
I don't want to go to Greece, things are too crazy there. But I do like souvlaki. I like to cook a lot of Greek foods. They are great. -
Wonderful video Moni! All your food looked SO GOOD! It really did put me in the mood for a little Greek food creation! XO's -

Nice video and so beautifully staged Moni. Love the beauty of Greece and it's history, culture and influences to the world's cuisine we all enjoy today.
Greece's first bite for me would be to go to a local traditional Greek taverna to really experience the people, culture and cuisine. I would want to try some fried kefalotyri cheese with fresh baked pita bread and maybe some local mezes of course! I would have to try non-canned grape-leaf dolmathes and some Metaxa and other Greek spirits to celebrate being there! -
