Hi Real Women of Philadelphia,
Are you ready to find out who our next KitchenAid Daily Giveaway winner is? Congratulations, LAURA DAVIS!
Ok, so as we know, one super lucky winner is gonna get a brand new kitchen and a design consultation with moi, but I thought it would be fun to share some of my kitchen tips along the way as you guys submit every day. Cool? Cool.
So today, I wanted to explore one of my fave new tricks – a magnetic chalkboard for the INSIDE of your cabinet! Click HERE to see the video I did about it to show how super easy this is – I'm loving it!
I even created this quick tutorial HERE for you guys to download so that you have it at your fingertips if you want to try this in your own kitchen!

I would use chalkboard paint on the dishwasher to write a list of who's turn it is to load/unload the machine! -

I would use the chalkboard paint on a small flower box inside my kitchen (on the wall) so that I could mark the different herbs that I grow in the flower box! Love chalkboard paint! -
chalkboard paint inside the cupboards is a great idea for writing notes, grocery lists, etc. -

I would use chalk board paint on my bread box to write dates of the bread so I would know when it was old -
Congratulations Laura - How fun to win a mixer...I love having one, I like all of the extra attachements too. -
I would love to use it on the side of my refrigerator. My family is used to looking for notes from me on there. Also on the top of my bar, where my daughter can write while I'm cooking. -
I would put the chalkboard paint on the outside of my pantry door so that everyone could write down when they used the last of something and my little ones could use the bottom to color on. -
On the interior of my spice cabinet door so I can write what spices are on what shelf so I don't have to shuffle through everything when I'm looking for a spice. -
Paint squares on a funky canister sets so you can label and even date contents. "flour" "sugar" ect. -
I saw a chalk board stripe on a pitcher and glasses set. I love the idea of writing what is in the pitcher and everyones name on their cup! Then, simply erase and have a clean slate for next time. -
I like your idea of using the paint on the inside of the cabinets. I currently have a dry erase surface on the inside of one of my cabinets. I would like to put chalkboard paint on the inside of the other door. -
I would paint the top of a small round table for a child's nook so my daughter could color and. Snack while I'm busy in the kitchen. -
I like my glass cabinets like they are so I would not paint them. My fridge is new so I would not paint it. I use paper and pencils or pens for messages. If I had to use your paint, I would paint my daughters glass cabinets.
I think your idea is very nice but not in my home. -
I would make a board to put on my refrigerator or door and paint with the chalkboard paint for grocery lists and notes or important information. -
I love the back splash idea pictured above, I would totally try that in my kitchen. I could constantly customize. -

I would paint my pantry door with chalkboard paint for fun doodles and grocery & to do lists. -
I would paint three cupboards. One I would make days of the week magnets for to-do lists and appointments. One would be for grocery lists/menu ideas and the third would be a place for my coupons that I organize by store. I could write different store names on the chalkboard and hang an envelope there with all coupons for that store. Loved this post - I picked it as mY Friday Favorite this week. http://wp.me/p2hp9V-rB -
