These are always a tradition in our house for Thanksgiving breakfast and we always make a huge batch of them and freeze leftovers. A big mixer would really help. :)))

Instead of the spices they use I would use cinnamon and pumpkin pie spices.. -
I would have added 1/2 teaspoon of ginger and 1/4 tsp. of nutmeg for and added boost to this plain sounding pumpkin pie recipe.

I would just love to enter this contest, have tried all day, but cannot figure out how to do it! I did enter a recipe and have printed a multitude of others but cannot figure out how to enter this contest! My being 76 has nothing to do with my ignorance of computers I am sure ha! I do cook and have always wanted a Kitchenaid mixer but never thought I could afford it since I still use Mom's really, really old one. -
This morning I made a pumpkin sheet cake from a Libby Pumpkin bread mix. Then I mixed 6 oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese with 1/4 cup butter 1 cup Domino 10x Powdered sugar and 1 tsp. McCormick Hazelnut flavoring. I whipped it up real good and fluffy, spread it on the sheet cake ,rolled the sheet cake into a log then used the excess filling to frost-decorate the cracks. I then delivered it to a friend for their 71st birthday and got all kinds of smiles. My friend loves cheesecake and cream cheese . He is a fanatic about it. It made his day. -
