I get up at 5pm to leave by 6. I have coffee,my cereal and some kind of fruit. I hate mornings as that is when I am trying to go to bed and I have just worked my 13+ hours at a Trauma/Surgical ICU unit at a big university hospital. I love nursing and have worked 6 shifts in a row for years. I am usually up for most of the day before I go to work and for most of the day after my last shift. My "morning" is spent packing my snacks and drinks, some kind of frozen something to warm-up at 3 am and finally calling in an order for a chef salad . I like quiet in the "morning" and a few moments of hugging as I pass my husband as he comes home. Then as they say at work "Let the games begin!!". -
I have to have a Dr. Pepper first thing. I hit the floor running around 7:00am and don't get to sit down until 6:00pm I love being busy, I have to accomplish something even if it's small every day! Of course my accomplishments usually have to do with food and recipes! -

Yep... I am a morning girl. I get up. Get going and just keep going.....I would like to say that I eat some sort of fabulous meal but oatmeal and coffee are my go to goods in the am! -
I'm up and out for my morning walk, rain or shine, then home for breakfast, read the paper, work out on Wii Fit Plus, shower and start my day. When a kink get thrown in my schedule, I feel incomplete. It wasn't always this way, but, now as a empty nester parent, I can make my own schedule. -
Oh I love this question...I've always been a morning person...I'm usually up at 5am or so, but I don't get out of bed until 5:30am....I do some quiet time to read before I start the day and I always get my cup of coffee before I sit and read. Then by 6:15ish I get on the treadmill to walk for at least 30 minutes if not a little longer.
By then my kiddos are awake and it's breakfast and our day begins.....I always do my best work first thing in the morning....after dinner...I like to just hang w/ the kiddos and by 8:30 I start to veg out and doze off....ha! -
I grumble and growl because the sun usually wakes me up - and in the summerime, this is early in the a.m. I do my 'personals' and then feed my cat - Tick-Tack. Also I have adopted two - that I know of - ferrell cats and I leave food and water out for them at the same time that I feed my indoor cat. For better or worse, I give all the cats water with a few ice cubes in them . . . only so that the water will stay cold throughout the day.
Then I put my own Meal on Wheels lunch container outdoors on my porch. That as well ds a bag of the dry ice that KRAFT sent us during Season One and that I keep in the freezer most of the time.
Then I take my daily 'constitutional', walking to the Atco Diner to have coffee and toast as a simple but quiet breakfast. And if I get an offer of a ride home from one of the Diner patrons, I accept it . . otherwise I walk back - about 0.7 miles each way. Then my day begins. Not a thrlling morning opener but it gives me the start that I need for the day. -
I wake up every morning around 5:30 am to 2 sets of 4 paws that pounce on me for their morning petting and loving. Then Jim gets his morning kiss. We have a cup of coffee together and talk about what is planned and important on this glorious day that I have been given! If I am working it's off to the shower and time to get ready. While multitasking, I get my computer up in my home office and log-in to see what'sup here and on Facebook. Read a little news, check e-mail and have a quick bite of breakfast. I have an empty nest at home and it easier now than back when we were racing to get childs to school locally and feed them and check homework, make sure lunch or lunch money was covered, checked calendar and pick-up stats. Oh the memories of grand time! Many mornings when I am off, we go outside and sit on the patio for newspaper reading time over coffee and breakfast and listen the birds that abound in our neighborhood trees sing and greet us to the sounds of nature! -
Morning routine...I'm actually still developing one. Every morning is different thanks to our one, almost two-year-old, daughter. If she wakes before the alarm clock then it's her world and I'm lucky to make it to the office with my makeup on. If she wakes after the alarm then most likely we've had our showers and I've at least curled my hair; then we are good to go. :-) Coffee, email then I'm out the door. -
I wake up very, very early! First thing ... I say my morning prayers, before even rolling out of the "goose down". Then, I go in and do my "personals", and get dressed. If it is a school morning, I then awaken the kids, and get them up. While they are getting ready, I head to my office and log on to RWOP to connect with my "peeps". Then, it's out the door to drive the kids to school. Afterwards, depending on which day it is, I either go to Jazzercise or Mass first. Back home for a quick shower, a light brunch, and into the office to work ... -
I start every morning with a run, followed by a nice shower and a tasty cup of coffee. Getting that all of in every morning lets me know I can tackle anything during the rest of the day :-) -
I wake up, turn my laptop on and check for any email. A quick shower to wake the senses then I make simple breakfast after which I take a short walk. Of course the morning routine is not complete without taking a quick peak at RWOP.
