I am staying Patriotic this holiday weekend by remembering my fellow service men and women who have made the choice to serve our Country and defend our freedoms. We will be taking a moment of silence to pray for those who have given some and to those who have given all so that our country may have the freedom to celebrate this weekend. We will also say a prayer for their families who will be spending this holiday without their love ones and we will thank God that he has brought my family safely together and to keep my husband safe as he serves in Afghanistan. -

I'm staying busy this weekend by knitting, sewing, drawing and writing! I just learned how to knit and I am beginning my first project-a love facecloth to put in the spa care package for my sister-in-law's wedding this September. I'm 1/6th of the way completed. I am sewing a snack attack pack to carry granola bars and snacks in my purse-designed like a shark :)-then I am studying raw emotions and illustrating portraits of the expressions. I am going to write a few essays-I hope. (I forgot to mention a few afternoon naps) :) -
I am staying happy this holiday weekend by celebrating my husband and my daughters’ birthdays! My daughter will be home from college and well will be making our traditional birthday crepes for breakfast! I wish everyone a wonderful weekend! -
