We have so many holiday favorites that use Philadelphia cream cheese. There is always my Mom's cream cheese and olive cheese ball and my favorite cheesecake was always the simple Pineapple Cheesecake. My Nanny (grandmother) used to alwas make these frozen treats during the holidays that had Philadelphia cream cheese, cranberries, pineapple, and nuts, among other ingredients and they were so tasty and refreshing!! -

Paula, you are adventurous trying alligator tail! That is a little bit crazy for me. I thought discovering Spaghetti Squash was an adventure. I had it at a restaurant for the first time, it was tossed lightly with garlic and olive oil. Now it has become a family favorite side dish and I have been experimenting with all sorts of different toppings and twice baked cheesy recipes! So delicious with the Philadelphia Original Cooking Creme and fresh basil and tomato. -
I've been penny pinching this year so I've been doing a lot of things the old fashioned way. I've been canning tomatoes, freezing beans & corn & the like. The latest NEW adventure was making my own croutons. How easy was that? They taste 10x better too! I baked mine & my family loved them. I made 5 times the croutons of what it costs for 1 bag. Can't wait to see what else I can do :)... -
I tried fried alligator tail with cream sauce dip!
It is so fantastic! I can't wait to try some of the recipes I've
learned about the last few weeks! Thanks -

This year I tried Philadelphia Cooking Creme & have enjoyed experimenting with the product. I especially like the savory lemon & herb & savory garlic. I grill large jumbo shrimp on skewers and baste with cooking cremes for a delicious summertime meal. -
I made my own spice rub from whole fresh ground spices, dried herbs and dried peppers. Let the ribs set for a few hours then made my own barbeque sauce. It was quite yummy. My next venture with that is slow roasting a pulled pork then add the bbq sauce to your own taste. -
I made homemade marshmallow this year and put them on a skewer and dipped them in chocolate and graham cracker crumbs. They were sensational. A whole different "ball game" than store bought marshmallows and amazingly better than regular s'mores.
I thought I'd have stickiness all over everything, but homemade marshmallow was easy. Try it, you'll like it! -
I made a spicy bourbon and citrus pork tenderloin with apples and sweet potatoes last week. It was awesome! -

When we went on vacation to Flordia I tried fried alligator. It was good and did NOT taste like chicken. -
I tasted mexican coleslaw at a local restaurant and loved it. Found a recipe online (didn't find one here) and made it. It was a hit with the family. They loved it as a dip for tortilla chips. -

I had a loaf of wheat bread that was expiring and going to go bad, so I made bread pudding for the first time. So good. Even my husband, who doesn't like bread pudding, loved it. Added raisins and a vanilla sauce. So good and will definitely make again and again. -
I love deep fried cheese on a stick and I make a deep fried cheese wonton. I also love to experiment with deep frying wontons and pie filling. -
I am in love with a food called "Mielmesabe", wich is Spanish for "tastes like honey". Its a Venezuelan dessert made with milk, panela, sugar, cinnamon and cloves. So good and comforting! And the best, you make with the milk you did not drink and probably would throw away. Ecofood! -
Trendy, little decadent deserts served with fun drinks. Such as homemade chocolate mousse, cheese cake, bread pudding, gelato, salted caramel "anything" and bonbons along with chocolate martini's, chocolate wine and chocolate beer. Did I mention I'm a Chocoholic? I'm planning a get together with friends and making a sampling of the above deserts, small, one to two bite size servings on fun little plates, spoons and cups. Should be fun. -
I had tried Nutella when I was in England as part of the Foreign Exchange Program while in college, but when I came home, there was none to be found in America. Happily I can share that is no longer the case, and I can state that I'm enjoying reliving my college days while trying Nutella on just about everything again. What fun! -
One of my favorites is a good filet of fish baked in foil with a little lemon, butter and dill. Have a salad and you've got a healthy, satisfying meal. -
All I have been hearing about is coconut water. I haven't had a chance to try it yet though. I should. -
