I thought I'd mix it up and post our final Side Dish "Time Crunch" winner as the first post of the day!

Please give a round of applause to...Laurie L. Figone! Her "Lean Green Slaw" wowed the fancy folks over at Kraft, and let me tell you, it wowed me, too! I love the idea of a sweet slaw with the bite and crunch of a tangy, Granny Smith apple. I have been absolutely amazed at the quality and innovation of your recipes - never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined such a varied and delicious collection of dishes. I am so honored to have been your host for our first week of submissions.
