Hi Ladies and Gents!
Having a house full of your family and friends can be an absolute delight, but what do you do when you don’t want to serve a complete a meal? Make mini versions of your favorite recipes!
Finger foods are without a doubt the best option for entertaining a crowd, and guests love to dig in to bite-sized appetizers while chatting with the other guests. Here are a few things to consider when making mini versions of your favorite dishes.

- If you want to make mini versions of a recipe, pick one that makes sense! Miniature versions of a steak dish may be difficult, but it should be a snap to turn a yummy burger recipe into sliders!
- Take a look at how many servings the recipe yields and adjust your ingredients based on how many guest you invite. You always want to make more than you need.
- Make most of the items the day before the event if possible, and never prepare a dish for a crowd if you’ve never made it before.
- Lean toward dishes that can be served either hot or cold, and always have toothpicks and skewers on hand to make the items easier to eat.
The autumn is the perfect time to host a spectacular party, and we can’t think of any fall dish cuter than these PUMPKIN CIDER TARTS from SUSAN WHETZEL.

Everyone has a favorite appetizer, so tell us yours! Don’t worry if you can’t think of one, simply search for your favorite meat, veggie or PHILADELPHIA product in our RECIPE GALLERY, and tell us which appetizer you can't wait to try!

Mini sliders are a favorite in my house. The kids love that they can pick it up and eat it, that it is not to big for them. Also the older kids and hubby love them cuz they eat several and justify it by saying they were small. I mix Philly cream cheese with horseradish, garlic, and A-1 sauce for the spread on the buns. -

Love mini appetizers to serve up! Great to have a few savory and a few sweet for an array of nice two bites sized appetizers. Finger foods and napkins for folks to scoop up a few and walk around with are great as well as small plates with wine glass holders to eat and drink from! I love serving a few of my soups in shooter glasses too as appetizers and I also serve appetizers that are main courses but minis! -
Pumpkin Cider Tarts look great! I love to make my mini pecan pies,
and I also like to make for an appetizer, a mini version of my Italian Style Potato Croquettes with a marinara dipping saue! -
Love to make mini pies of all kind. They are great for parties or just to have a nice little dessert and the left overs usually freeze well. -

I have a fantastic mini that I'm saving for another contest - but it is deliciously delightful! -
I had a three-ingredient mini for the next Contest, but now you have mentioned the thought, so I will reveal it here. It is my maternal Italian grandmother's mini Italian ham pies! Just take a flattened pie crust - even Pillsbury Crescents - lining paper baking cups. In a separate dish, combine proscuitto and KRAFT Philly Italian Cheese & Herb Cooking Creme. After mixing this blend thoroughly, drop it into the centers of the dough-lined baking cups, then bake and serve! NOTE - They're better served chilled. -

How about Mini Pumpkin Whoopie Pies with white chocolate-cream cheese filling? These are the perfect fall treat and were a huge hit with the family :)

Linda, those brownies sound delicious! I love appetizers, and almost always serve a variety of hot, cold and dessert ones when I have a dinner or just guests over for a "fete privee". One of my favorites is Albacore St. Louis, which is white, Albacore tuna, blended with heart of palm, cream cheese and spices, and served on petite St. Louis toast.
