I would love to invite Chef Ramsy but I'm sure he is to busy to stop by. My mother lives in NJ and we live in KY but we are always talking about food. I think she would get a kick out my new kitchen and make my dad redo hers. -
I would invite Curtis Stone and Paula Deen....it would be the most grooviest time ever...an Aussie and a Southern Bell meet a TexMex...but problem is I rent and it's a one butt kitchen....I can dream....oh...we can knock out one wall and it'll be open to the living room and put the fridge against the one wall with the stove and then we can have a three butt kitchen....ahhh...a big kitchen...there all settled...come on over y'all.....xoxo -
I would invite ALL the people of RWoP along with Paula Deen cuz she is my kinda gal. It would be SO much fun to learn and pass on to my daughters. -
If I had to pick someone it would be celebrity chef Guy Fieri, he is such an inspiration when it comes to food. I have always been told that I should open up my own Restaurant or a B&B. It would be an honor to have him try my creations. He has such a way with his own recipes that I have used him as my inspiration for my creations in the kitchen. -
If I won this I would help someone who needs a kitchen make over as I rent and have some differences with my kitchen , but helping someone is what I'm all about . -
Iwould invite my brother who knows that I don't invite many people other than him into my 1976 original kitchen. It needs a facelift and new flooring. The faucet leaks and the range hood paint is peeling. -
i would invate every one whos loging on here because they seem to have some cool idears and most of the food looks so good,,,,, -
If I won I would let my kids see it first. Maybe then the night of Dec 13 ( The night of our house fire ) would stop giving my kids bad dreams of what they seen. When ever they come over ( not to often ) they tell me that they can still smell the soot, and are always worried that they will get it on there clothes. The firemen had to spray water in the attic so at times you can even spell the mildew. I would have loved to of been able to enter, and I thought I had. But when I hit summit I had lost the page, so then I had to retype it. When I then pushed summit it came up that I was to late. I think 30 min, even though it said I posted it on the 19th. Who knows! I can still dream, and one day I will be able to redo my kitchen and get rid of my melted sink, and my fire stained counters. Sharon Jean Clark. -
I would invite my mom and sister so we could make a nice feast for our families. Family time is great and I can't get enough of it. I love trying new recipes out on my family and spending time with them. It's always fun sharing tips and recipes with each other. -
I would invite my sister who is my best friend. I would treat her to a very special dinner. She is always doing the majority of the cooking for the holidays and she doesn't get a chance to just sit back and enjoy. She has always been the host for all the holidays. -
I would invite my children, my brother and sister and their families. It would be a great time of re-union and to show off my new designed kitchen too. -
I would want to invite everyone I know. I would be so proud of my new designed kitchen I would want to show it off to all! -
MYSELF! I HAVE A TINY GALLEY KITCHEN IN A TINY APARTMENT, AND I'M A BIG GIRL! SO, I CAN'T HAVE 'COMPANY' IN MY KITCHEN, UNFORTUNATELY. (HAS ANYONE ELSE WATCHED "THE LITTLE PARIS KITCHEN"? LOVE IT! RACHEL KHOO MAKES WORKING IN A 'TINY' KITCHEN LOOK LIKE MAGIC!) HOWEVER, I CAN/WOULD GET IN THERE AND WHIP UP A FEAST FOR MY FIVE LOVES....MY GRANDCHILDREN~~~THE LIL DELUSIONAL LOVES OF MY LIFE WHO ACTUALLY THINK THEIR GRANNY CAN REALLY COOK!;) GOTTA LOVE 'EM! Well my wife, for she is not the chef in our house. It is me, so now she would have the chance to cook like a rock star. Then i would Tweet Guy from triple-D and we would throw down. My new kitchen would flow like a food network set. All good! -

The very first person I would have invited is my late Daddy....we shared a great love of cooking, so since he is gone I would invite my buddy from KY., Rhonda Staub Brown, I talk to her about my cooking ideas all the time. So I would share that moment with her and of course my husband, who is my guinea pig he tastes everything! -
My children because they've been my greatest supporters in my Real Women of Philadelphia journey over the last three years. -
The first person I would invite is my best friend Shannon Imlay and then I would have a RWOP reunion and invite all the ladies! -
I would invite my grandma as the very first. She is the woman that taught me to really cook. She slaved hours in the kitchen for every meal. She did not have mixers, processors, bread makers, etc. She did everything (EVERYTHING!) by hand. Bread that had to be kneaded for 30 minutes, she'd knead by hand for 30 minutes. Cream that had to be whipped to top off the dessert, she would whip by hand for what seemed like an eternity. She made do with a simple and small kitchen, but made truly the tastiest, most flavorful, most creative and unique and delicious food I have ever eaten. So if my kitchen was made over, I would invite her over the first day and every day to experience a kitchen that was designed to make it easier for her - larger, excellent appliances (she used to always lament how our oven was never a true 350), appliances to make things easier for her, etc. And I'd invite her every day so that we could cook, chop, and bake together. -
I don't see my post, so I'm going to go again:
I would invite Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and Tom Brokaw and here's why: Oprah because she is an amazing philanthropist, Hillary Clinton because -- well, there are just too many reasons to lay them out, Bill Clinton because he was a wonderful, wonderful President and smart enough to marry the great Hillary Clinton and Tom Brokaw because of his dedication to the "Greatest Generation" of which my Dad was a member. Of course, anyone in my family who would like to come.
