Hello Everyone!
We always love seeing our fellow Real Women of Philadelphia come together, and couldn't get enough of the photos JOSEE LANZI shared with us from the Food Blog Forum in Orlando!
Josee met up with fellow Real Women of Philadelphia community members, KAY HERITAGE and WENDY GONZALEZ for a weekend of food, blogging and fun at Disney World!

Do you take time of out of your day to blog? Have you recently started your own? Let us know in the Comments below!

I love this picture of Josee, Wendy and Kay too! It reminds me of the time Lady Nann, Debbie Fabre, and Shannon Imlay and I got together...so much fun!!!
I am not a blogger either, simply because I work every day and just can't devote the time I would need to do it...but I have visited many of the beautiful blogs from women on this site and are just amazed by the talent and the dedication it takes to do them. My blogging hat goes off to you ladies! And Laurie Figone...you are certainly one talented and amazing woman too!

I am a Food Blogger! I have been blogging since 2009
And it thrills me to be a part of the "foodie" world. We are a breed in our own right....Very talented people whom like to build each other up instead of causing problems for others. I LOVE to share my kitchen to all those who visit my blog:

I love Amy Tong's blog called Utryit featuring so many great pictures and mouth watering recipes. I have been wanting to start a food blog for a long time but may do it in video form since I love to demonstrate. I just need a helper with the technical aspect of it and am looking for that now.

I have a website and TV Show www.CookingWithLaurieFigone.com
It features locally grown/produced food...I'm meeting incredible people and having the time of my life!!

I love the photos of you beautiful ladies... Josee, Kay and Wendy! How cool was that to meet up together! You gals who are talented bloggers are amazing to me! I dream about having a fabulous blog someday! I guess I've never wanted to do it until I knew I could commit enough time to keeping it updated! I started one just to play around with about weekends at my vacation home in Lake Arrowhead and entertaining family and friends with delicious food there... I love entertaining more than anything so my future blog will have to incorporate that element!
I love so many of your blogs and look forward to even more of you finding your blogger voice and taking us on your personal journey... I just know I can learn something from each one of you! monixo

Purnellope - I would encourage you to give it a shot. It wouldn't hurt, right? It could turn out that you have a lot to say and talents that people would love to read about! There are plenty of sites where you can start a blog for free. Write about the crafts you make and the foods you bake! Take pictures of what you're doing and how you're making things. You may be surprised!

I have thought much about the idea of blogging, but I always end up back at that nagging question, "who would care to hear about what I'm passionate about?!!!". I'm home all day, no kids, just me and the pets while the hubby is at work....I love to cook, enjoy making some crafts, etc. I am disabled and cannot work; so, I guess you could say I have too much time on my hands. ;-] So, what's a girl to do? How do you get started? How do you decide what to write about? How do you get people to want to follow your blog? SO many questions....would like some answers and some guidance, but don't know where to start. Help????

RWoP Girl - Agree! I started a food blog awhile back, but noticed I wasn't "into" it as much as I thought I would be. My husband said, "That's because it's only a fraction of who you are..." It's a large fraction when you feed a family of six for years, but it's not the only place of interest for me.
So, he suggested I incorporate everything I do and love, and that's when blogging took on a whole new world for me. It also opened up a lot of avenues. Now, I have www.hudsonvalleyhandymom.com :)

Paula, I love that you make time to blog each week--there's definitely something therapeutic about it! Does anyone have any advice for new bloggers? My advice: write about what you know and love!

Carol- Your blog looks fabulous! Very well done, and so glad you approach the topic of diabetes.
Paula - How the heck do you stay so thin? The sugar cookie bars are to die for! Your food photos look great.
Shannon- Your blog is absolutely gorgeous. I had close-ups of your photos, and it isn't just the camera...it's the person behind it.
As you all know, I'm not just a food blogger, but I do enjoy what I do. ;)

Also, Shannon...your blog is BEAUTIFUL and your camera skills are incredibel! I need to get some tips from you :-)

How fun! I love those photos :-)
I also blog, and I try to get up a new recipe every week, but sometimes when things get crazy I fall a bit behind. I am still trying to learn how to photograph food properly...which is really an art in itself, but it is such a fun release!

Shannon, you blog is very well done! Your floral designs are absolutely gorgeous, and I am happy to have had the privilege of seeing them first hand.♥

I do blog and I love it. My blog is on entertaining, not just on food. Since I'm a certified floral designer and party planner, I like to show a lot of different aspects of entertaining, not just the cooking. My blog has a romantic vintage feel because that's my personality. I'm really trying to improve my photography skills since I got a new camera for Christmas and I feel that good photos make such a difference in the quality of my blog. If anyone would love to check it out it's http://shannonsshanonigins.blogspot.com

I am not a blogger, but I do continuously look at some of the blogs of the ladies in the community. Kay Heritage is a super talent all across the board... she can cook, she can photograph, and her blog is stellar. She's a dynamic businesswoman and culinary instructor as well! Four stars...
I am sure it was a great meet up when Kay and Wendy met, because they are both great food photographers.. both super talents.
Others, such as Carol Ann White and Rebecka Evans, not only have developed their own great blogs, but are working with newer bloggers to help them to develop their sites as well... sharing their time and talent to help others! They've become the "go to" RWOPers for starting blogs.. That's awesome, and speaks to the heart of the RWOP!♥
